I currently work as an Image Quality Technician on the development of the HoloLens at Microsoft in Fort Collins, Colo.
As a graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in photojournalism, I've worked as a photographer sharing stories within the community at the Boulder Daily Camera, The News & Advance, The Free Lance-Star, The Bakersfield Californian and Messenger Post Media. I had the opportunity to work as production assistant for Magnum photographer Alec Soth during the House of Pictures project in Rochester, N.Y. and assisted POYi photojournalist Brenda Ann Kenneally to produce her layered multimedia project, Upstate Girls. I've directed and produced promotional videos for graduate and undergraduate programs for the University of Colorado Boulder as well as programming for American Public Television.
My multimedia projects, news photography, features, sports and picture essays have been recognized by National Press Photographers Association, Virginia News Photographers Association, Virginia Press Association and Photo District News. My images have been published by The New York Times, TIME, USA Today, Huffington Post, Vox, PRI, NBC News, The Seattle Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and the Los Angeles Times.
