I currently work as a freelance photographer and videographer based out of Fort Collins, Colorado. Prior to freelancing, I worked as a photojournalist for the Boulder Daily Camera.
As a graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in photojournalism, I've worked at The News & Advance, The Free Lance-Star, The Bakersfield Californian and Messenger Post Media. I was a production assistant for Magnum photographer Alec Soth during the House of Pictures project in Rochester, N.Y. and assisted POYi photojournalist Brenda Ann Kenneally to produce her layered multimedia project, Upstate Girls. I've also produced programming for American Public Television.
My multimedia projects, news photography, features, sports and picture essays have been recognized by National Press Photographers Association, Virginia News Photographers Association, Virginia Press Association and Photo District News. My images have been published by The New York Times, TIME, USA Today, NBC News, The Seattle Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and the Los Angeles Times.
